Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
TallyGo is a product of Global Logistics & Shipping Inc, doing business as TallyGo ("TallyGo", "we"). TallyGo is software that moving companies ("Customers") use to record on-site inventories of household goods, have the client sign, and deliver the signed document. Contact: support@tallygo.co.
2. Our role
For the job records a Customer creates in TallyGo (clients' names, addresses and inventories), the Customer decides what is collected and why, and TallyGo processes that information on the Customer's behalf and on its instructions. If you are a Customer's client and have questions about your own inventory, contact the moving company first; we will help them respond.
3. Information we handle
- Pilot requests: if you ask to join the pilot on this website, the company name, your name, your email address and, if you choose to give one, your phone number. We also keep a one-way scrambled form of your connection's address, only to slow down automated abuse; it cannot be turned back into the address.
- Customer staff accounts: name or email address and sign-in details for the people who use the office screen.
- Job information entered by the Customer: job number, client name, pickup or delivery address and postcode, route, recipient email addresses for the signed document.
- Inventory: the numbered list of items, condition notes, and any corrections, recorded as a history.
- Signature: the client's signature image and printed name, with the time of signing.
- Crew phone numbers: mobile numbers of foremen or crew entered by the Customer so a job link can be texted.
- Operational records: when a crew link was issued and first opened, and whether emails and text messages were delivered.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this website.
4. How it is used
Details you give when you request access are used only to reply to you, to decide whether and how to set up a pilot account, and to send you a confirmation email. A phone number given on the request form is used only so we can call you about your request; we do not send text messages to it. We do not use these details for advertising.
To run the service: record the inventory, produce and freeze the signed PDF, email it to the recipients the Customer chose, send job-link text messages, show the Customer's office the status of each job, and keep the service secure.
5. Who it is shared with
Only with service providers that help us run TallyGo, each for that purpose only:
- web hosting and serverless functions (Netlify);
- database and file storage (Supabase);
- email delivery (SendGrid, a Twilio company);
- text-message delivery (Twilio);
- an AI service (Anthropic) that checks a list of item descriptions for rows where two items ran together. Only the numbered item descriptions are sent; client names, addresses and job details are not.
We may disclose information if the law requires it. Mobile numbers and text-message consent information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
6. How long we keep it
A pilot request is kept while we are deciding on it and, if you join, for as long as you use TallyGo. If you do not join, ask us at support@tallygo.co and we will delete it.
Each job is kept for the retention period the Customer's account is set to (default 30 days after the signed document is delivered). A signed inventory is never deleted until at least one delivery of the signed PDF has been confirmed by the email provider; if delivery cannot be confirmed, the record is kept and the Customer is shown a warning. When a job is deleted, its items, signature, document, client details, address and route are removed, leaving only a minimal record that the job existed. Email and text-message delivery logs are kept for as long as needed to run the service and resolve disputes.
7. Security
Each Customer's data is separated from every other Customer's at the database level. Crew links open one job only, expire at midnight in the job's time zone, and can be revoked. Documents are stored privately and handed out only through short-lived links. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Crew members can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. Clients and staff may ask the relevant moving company to access, correct or delete their information; you can also write to us and we will pass the request to the right Customer. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, such as access or deletion.
9. Children
TallyGo is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the date above.
